Presentation (pdf)- The Commercial-Free Childhood Committee has prepared a 75-90 minute presentation for parents, teachers, and others interested in the effects of marketing to children from the perspective of mental health professionals.  The presentation will cover marketing and advertising as it relates to children's play, materialism and family stress, body image and obesity, and violence.  It will conclude with ways in which the audience can make a difference.  The presentation is offered in the form of a slide show or a DVD.  Please take a look at the accompanying slide show script and references (pdf) for more information.
