The Psychology for a Sustainable Future Network (PSF) is a project of the Center for Earth Leadership.  It is composed of individuals with an interest in the connection between mental health, sustainability, and the environment.

Mission:

PSF will (1) help increase awareness within psychology-related professions about environmental issues, such as ecological degradation and consumer culture, and their impact on clients and the larger society and (2) use research and psychological understandings and techniques to promote sustainability and wellness.

Current Initiative:

Commercial-Free Childhood Committee, to raise public awareness of the commercialization of childhood.

Past Events:

Psychology-Ecology-Sustainability Conference.  A national conference was held at Lewis and Clark College on June 8-10, 2007 to explore the critical intersection between psychology, ecology, and sustainability.
