The Eco-School Network is a group of parents and teachers from 40 schools in the greater Portland Metro area who are all working on sustainability efforts.
Network members also support each other and the schools through sharing resources and project guides, exchanging ideas, coordinating efforts, and maintaining overall enthusiasm of the group. A working document has been developed that includes project 'how-tos'
and information on key resources (like where to go and who to ask about
free items and assistance!).
Members of the Eco-School Network have taken the Center's training on "How to Be an Agent of Change in Your Circle of Influence." The Center offers a class, at no cost, specifically for those interested in joining the Network and creating changes within a school.
